The current COVID safe capacity for No.1 Sportsground is sitting at 25%, meaning the grounds capacity is 2,500. 

Maitland Events will continue to monitor and adhere to the advise regarding COVID-19.

The A-League trial match between the Newcastle Jets and Macarthur FC kicks off at 5.15pm.

Gates open at 4.00pm.

Due to COVID-19 all persons onsite are required to purchase a ticket, so event organises can keep a record of those on site. 

General Admission tickets are free of charge and all Grandstand tickets are sold out.

General Admission ticket holders are free to bring their picnic rugs or camping chairs. 

No large oversized chairs, reclining chairs, air bed and deck chairs are permitted.

Standard sized collapsible camping chairs only (maximum measurements 1m high x 80cm wide).

No carry bags for chairs.

Maitland FC will be running the canteen throughout the game where a range of hot food will be available.

You are welcome to bring your own picnic rug and packed food in small quantities (non-commercial foods).

This is a licensed event, alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages will be available from the canteen for the duration of the game. 

Please note that all liquor, glass bottles, breakable containers, cans and unsealed beverages are not permitted into No. 1 Sportsground.

Sealed non-alcoholic beverages will be permitted in small quantities.

No gazebos, beach umbrellas or shade structures are permitted in the grounds.

Small personal umbrellas are permitted, but are not to be opened in the grandstand.

Courteous use of personal umbrellas is advised.

Yes, the match will go ahead rain or shine.

There is no shade available in the General Admission area.

We recommend wearing sunscreen and a hat, and keeping hydrated.

If it rains, consider wearing a raincoat or poncho as umbrellas will limit the vision of other patrons.

In the case of extreme weather on the day, please check the Maitland City Council Facebook page for updates.

There is no ATM within the facility.

You can make purchases at the canteen via cash or EFTPOS, however you will not be able to withdraw cash via EFTPOS.

We recommend you bring cash with you to make purchases on the day.
