Maitland Park came alive on Australia Day with 2,500 attendees enjoying a morning filled with exciting activities, delicious food, and fantastic entertainment.
With a free BBQ, craft activities, live entertainment, and free entry to both Maitland and East Maitland Aquatic Centres, it was the perfect day out for the whole family! The event also welcomed 41 new citizens during the citizenship ceremony at Maitland Town Hall.
As the sun set and the evening unfolded, the fun continued after the daytime festivities as Maitland Pool transformed into a floating cinema for Dive In Cinema. With over 360 attendees, families grabbed their floaties and swimwear or relaxed poolside to enjoy a movie experience under the stars.
