This Australia Day there will be a range of activities in Maitland Park.

There are plenty of way to get to and from the event. See below for more details. 

GETTING HERE

Wherever possible guests are being encouraged to use public transport to get to and from the event.

Maitland Railway Station is only a 15 minute walk from the event site.

There are a range of transport options including bus, train and taxi.

With Maitland Train Station being only a short 15 minute walk from the event site, catching a train into the event is one of the easiest ways to get here.

There are a range of car parks available around Central Maitland if you choose to drive to Maitland Park:

With the amount of people attending the event, parking can become an issue for some.

Taxi Services will be available throughout the event weekend.

FAQ's

Australia Day in Maitland Park will be held in Maitland Park.  

Dive In Cinema will be held in Maitland Aquatic Centre. 

Australia Day in the Park will run from 7.30am -12.30pm. 

Dive In Cinema will run from 5.00pm – 9.00pm 

Australia Day in the park is free to attend.

Dive In Cinema is $10.00 In Pool and $5.00 Out of Pool tickets. 

Dogs are permitted on site, however they must be on a leash and with their owner at all times.

We ask that dog owners respect the event site as well as other event attendees by picking up after your dog.

We expect crowds of around 6,000 – 8,000 people so we ask that you don’t bring any dogs with an aggressive nature to the event.

There will be a range of activities available for event attendees.
